My Anerley Road favourites
Here are some of my favourite places on Anerley Road ❤ It’s really worth checking these places out!
Anerley Town Hall
As well as being a business centre, Anerley Town Hall is a community space with a diverse range of activities for all different age groups, including fitness classes, arts clubs, language lessons, youth clubs and social groups.

BOB Wines
BOB Wines have a great selection of bottles of wine and local craft beers, with helpful, knowledgeable staff. They also sell wine on tap in refillable bottles, which is good for the environment too!
The Douglas Fir
A lovely little bar from the Gipsy Hill Brewery with a great atmosphere and loads of beers on tap and in bottles to choose from, as well as fruit-based drinks if you’re not a beer kinda person.

Made From Plants
This bakery and shop is the place to come for vegan and plant-based products! There’s delicious home-made food and they also stock a great choice of groceries. Open Thursday to Sunday.
The Paxton Centre
There’s so much going on at the community hub that is the Paxton Centre: exhibitions by local artists and craftspeople, creative classes and workshops, a shop and a fully licensed café, plus it hosts all sorts of events and meetings.

Pizzeria Dell’Angolo
A classic neighbourhood Italian restaurant with affordable prices made even more affordable by the fact that it’s BYOB (and conveniently just across the road from BOB Wines)! Book to avoid disappointment at busy times, as it’s snug.
